Carl Gordon

FOUNDER | GENERAL CONTRACTOR | ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Carl is a third-generation home builder with a foundation in architectural design. He's successfully launched multiple businesses across Dallas and the Hill Country, combining his design background with hands-on construction experience.

A proud Marine Corps veteran, Carl served as a machine gun squad leader during Desert Shield and Desert Storm (1990-1994). His military service instilled the discipline and attention to detail that define his approach to construction — getting it right the first time, every time.

A Hill Country native, Carl married his Ingram High School sweetheart, Regina, and they've built a beautiful life together. Their family includes children Seth and Leah, daughter-in-law Jes, and grandsons Samuel and Elijah. When not building dream homes, Carl and Regina love traveling and exploring new cultures with family and friends.

Darrin Diffee |

SUPERINTENDENT

Darrin brings over 20 years of construction expertise to Element, with experience spanning both sales and hands-on building. His comprehensive understanding of the industry helps ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Before joining the construction world, Darrin spent ten years as an international missionary, serving in diverse regions across Latin America, Eastern Europe, and India, and countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Belarus, and Romania.

A true outdoorsman, Darrin loves hunting, fishing, and hiking when he's not on the job site. He and his wife Robin have four children — Brady, Madeline, Maribeth, and Aydan — and are proud grandparents to Parker and David.

Kim Richards

Kim is a designer, contractor, and founder of Dwell Well. She is also married to Greg Richards and a mother of five adult daughters. After years of working on the charity front and as a stay-at-home mom, Kim started Dwell Well.

Dwell Well was born out of a passion for hospitality and service. This 18-year dream led to the first purchase of a vacation rental bungalow, which further verified her passion. She renovated that cozy cottage and even have plans for more. That experience rekindled a passion for all things construction.

Paul Nakalanga

Paul began his journey in the pool industry under the mentorship of Emily’s father, Mark. Starting as an assistant in the field, he was responsible for carrying materials and mixing cement. Through dedication and hard work, Paul progressed through various roles within the company, gaining experience in plumbing, equipment programming, sales, and supervision.

With a rich background in pool construction and a passion for creating stunning outdoor spaces, Paul has extensive knowledge in all aspects of pool building and concrete work. Together with Emily, they are excited to embark on this journey with you, providing exceptional service and quality that exceeds your expectations.
